Hi,

Today we present you as a small Christmas present the Community Patch 1.5.2, which will turn off the copy protection of Gothic 3,
the Community Patch 1.5.2 is constructively equal to every other community patch of the 1.5 series.



Changes for Community Patch 1.5.2:

• - Deactivation of the copy protection

Requirements:

The Community Patch 1.5.2 requires an original Gothic-3-Installation with the official patch 1.12 (Download) or a Community Patch of the 1.5 series

Attention: A new installation file with Microsoft VB C++ Redistributable SP1 included has been uploaded. If you got problems starting the game with the original release please download this one again and install.


Note for language versions:

German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Chinese (simple), Chinese (traditional), Universe Edition

For the following language is included no Stringtable.ini:
Chinese (simple)

What is a Stringtable.ini?
The file which contains the gametexts.



Installation:

The Community Patch comes with the by now well known comfortable installer, such that this time it automatically uninstalls the previous CPs and then also automatically installs the CP 1.5.2

More information and support can be found in the „Readme“-file of the patch.

Be aware that certain changes will only take effect after starting a new game and also that possibly present gothic 3 modifications could lead to problems. Therefore it is recommended to remove these before a new game or the installation respectively. The same counts for any backups in the Gothic 3 directory.


Note:
this is an unofficial patch by fans for fans. Other bugs and problems might possibly appear by the use of such patches. Hence, the installation occurs, as usual, on your own responsibility!
