two wars) and was killed.

Does anyone know if the save game corruptions are fixed yet? I've had a look through the patch descriptions and they seem to mention only a few save game fixes... but I'm not sure if that fixes the corrupted save game problem! I don't want to start the game again just to find out later that it's still not fixed... I mean finding out the hard way of course. Thanks

I really like this game, I played Gothic I and was entranced by its style. Most games I wouldn't bother with, if it had this many problems.

The problem that savegames get corrupted while saving should be fixed, although some users reported that the game might still crash when loading a savegame, but this will not result in a destruction of the save.
