Slow game / Lack of video options

Well I was waiting for some time for this game now and I must say it is rather a let down that I cant get this game run at decent game speeds. Also the game apparently doesnt use D3D in any way here.

I was hoping for some way to completely tweak the video settings but I found out that my choices are limited to either the normal exe or the noov one. Neither of them seem to run ok.

The game starts but everything is choppy.. :(
Sound ticks and the scrolling / walking goes sooooo slow. Again I am really sad the game lacks any real video options in the game. I believe that some of the slowing down is cause by the ultra rendered specially lighted animated mouse cursor (One I would rather trade for a regular one that doesnt cause the slow downs)

1.6 GHz Pentium 4
512 Mb RAM
40 Gb SCSI U2W HDD

I think you need new drivers but even with all the correct drivers the game has many bugs but at least it wont go slow with drivers im just waiting for the patch to come out then i will play again

Heh. I see that the system cut of my config.

My system is running Windows 98 first edition fully patched and streamlined for speed. The system is fully U2W SCSI and a Geforce 2 MX video card.

I have all the latest drivers and fixes. Yet it matters not. *snif*
