I thought this was odd when I stumbled upon it, and now I can't find any information to verify it's a part of a quest.
I've completed the addonworld already, where all the water mages besides Nyxir and Vatras should be... It's chapter 3 and I just found the eye at the sun circle. In the cave just down the steps from the circle, I found Chronos and Merdarion dead on top of eachother. Chronos had his vendor inventory available for looting. They both had 'a piece of paper,' notes that wouldn't stack and do nothing but disappear when you attempt to read them.
So... Is this really a quest? As of chapter 2, they were not in the cave.
